Mission
Eradicating housing inequities for people experiencing homelessness
Vision
Our vision is that everyone has equal access to dignified housing
The goal of the Strategic Outreach Plan is to expand the outreach footprint and cover a broader portion of Mecklenburg County. In order to reach this goal, HFTICC created a referral process to create an entry point of those needing outreach services, developed designated service areas for teams of outreach workers, and partnerships with agencies to provider supplemental street outreach.

Mission
Our mission is to ensure that Center City is a welcoming, safe, and well-cared-for place for all—whether you live, work, or visit here. The Ambassador Program is essential in making that happen.
Vision
We help by connecting people to the right services, offering directions, and providing support where it is needed most. Our program focuses on three key areas:
Safety: Ambassadors support the work of our law enforcement officers, CMPD, by keeping a watchful eye, reporting public safety issues, and helping to maintain a secure environment.
Hospitality: Whether you are a worker, visitor, resident, or business owner in Uptown or South End, Ambassadors are here to assist you and ensure a pleasant experience.
Outreach: Ambassadors reach out to our homeless neighbors and those in crisis, helping connect them with the social services they need.
